This land has been in our family for generations. It is not simply property — it is a living system we are responsible for stewarding.
On these 37 acres in Willis, Texas, we are slowly and deliberately restoring what has been neglected. We are rebuilding pollinator corridors, planting for the bees and other wildlife, and allowing natural systems to return. Every decision begins with the same question: What does this land need to thrive?
The bees have lived here long before we gave them our full attention. Wild colonies have shared the walls of our home for over a decade. Their presence taught us that the health of the smallest creatures often reveals the health of everything else.
This is not a project with an end date. It is ongoing work — observing, adjusting, and working in relationship with the land rather than imposing upon it. We move slowly because the land teaches us to move slowly.
Copper Wild exists because this land exists. The bees, the soil, the trees, and the water are not resources to extract from. They are teachers.
